Mountain Mission Circle of Hope Food Drive

  • When: November 20th: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Where: West Virginia Radio Corporation studios (1111 Virginia Street East in Charleston)

Mountain Mission, along with each radio station from West Virginia Radio Corporation, will be collecting nonperishable food items and monetary donations from 7am through 6pm. Donations collected will go towards the Mountain Mission Christmas Basket program.

If you are unable to attend our Circle of Hope event, you can make your monetary donation by clicking here to “Donate Now”.

Each December, Mountain Mission Incorporated provides Christmas food baskets for those in need in the Greater Kanawha Valley.  Last year, over 2,000 people were fed through the program.  According to recent statistics, 1 in 6 adults and 1 in 4 children in West Virginia do not have access to quality food.

“We are thrilled to be able to once again provide a Christmas meal to our neighbors in need this year. Your donations directly support this effort. We strive daily to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve in Christ’s name. I can think of no better way to do that than in celebration of our Savior’s birth,” stated John Roberts, Executive Director of Mountain Mission Incorporated.

All applicants’ income and household size are verified prior to basket distribution. For a complete list of required documentation, and more information on our upcoming events, please visit our Facebook page @MountainMissionInc.
